During October of each year, the Big Boys Toys 3 day annual event takes place at Skydive Dubai. The show acts as one of the centre-pieces of the Eid Al Adha celebrations.
For 2014 the event ran from October 3rd to 5th, with exhibitors from countries around the world showing their innovations to around 40000 visitors.
As you'd expect from the event title, visitors get to see a range of innovative and unique - and generally very expensive - products which can be grouped under a number of different categories:

• Motoring
• Digital Equipment
• Lifestyle
• Health & Wellbeing
• Fashion
• Marine
• Off Road

As you'd expect from the event title, visitors get to see a range of innovative and unique - and generally very expensive - products which can be grouped under a number of different categories:

But at Big Boys Toys Dubai it's not just a viewing experience, there are dozens of interactive exhibits too. For 2014, there was a chance (for UAE driving license holders only, unfortunately) to actually get behind the wheel of a luxury supercar in the Test Drive Pit. Cars on show included a Ferrari, Chevrolet, Porsche, and a handful of other marques.
Each year the cast of exhibitors is growing. There were a reported 83% more VIP visitors in 2013 from the previous year, with an additional 9 countries getting in on the act. The 2015 event promises to be the biggest and best yet.
With live music on the agenda as well as opportunities for archery and shooting, visitors have plenty to see and do.
The exhibitor list for the event is filled with names you'll recognise instantly and others you may not know unless you have a significantly large bank balance.
As an example of what you can expect in any particular year here are a few of the exhibitors for the 2014 show.....
• Dar Al Tawasel present a submersible personal watercraft known as the Seabreacher. And stability were of course prerequisites in its design, with a hefty dose of luxury feel thrown in.
• XQ Auto Care showcase a number of high quality car care products which will keep those supercars in tip top condition.
• SKYZE Jewels present a range of luxury jewellery in 18kt gold with diamonds, pearls, and other precious gems. You can of course see the jewellery at the malls in the boutiques of the Sky Jewellery Group. If you're looking to buy diamonds on a Dubai trip then Sky Jewellery are well worth a look.
These just scratch the surface of course. While you're at the event keep an eye open for home robots, innovative training bicycles, unique display panels, off road buggies, and a whole lot more.
